Q. What kind of security is provided?

A. The site is protected with standard security measures. No sensitive information is required as part of the program; no address, phone, name, or financial data. The only identification that is used is your e-mail address and that is only released, with your permission, when you decide to “connect” with another family. Your e-mail address, along with a password known only to you, is required to login, create your profile, make changes and do searches. As a backup security measure, a secret question and answer, known only to you is employed.

Q. Can I use this site as a singles dating or matching service?

A. Definitely not. We are strictly for families. The profile will not function for singles. Although the terms husband and wife are used throughout, the definition of a family doesn’t require a sanctioned union or marriage. Any two adults, eighteen years or older, living in the same household in a relationship, similar to a marriage in practice, qualifies.

Q. If we are seniors, with no children in our household, are we still considered a family?

A. Very much so. As a matter of fact, older citizens will derive the same benefits from using eFamilyFriends.com™, as any others.
